Pumpkin Patch 2010

One of our favorite things to do every year is to go to the pumpkin patch!  We have so many fun memories from years past and look forward to it every year.  Here are some of our favorite pictures this year...

By the time we went on the tractor ride to the pumpkin patch, Noah was pooped!

There is something about the pumpkin patch that causes Caleb to get sick right afterwards.  Last year, he got the dreaded H1N1....this year he got the infection Noah had.  I don't think it will stop us from going in the future, though, it is WAY too much fun to miss out on!

Prayers for 2 Families...

Today is a very sad day. My heart breaks for both of these families...

One of Kevin's fellow Administrators lost one of her twin boys Michael on Monday, who was 10 days older than Caleb.  He had many health issues.  The funeral was today.  Please pray for Beth, Jeff, and little Stephen (Michael's twin brother).

The next family is one that I have never met.  I heard about Leslie's story through a friend's post on Facebook.  She and her husband were expecting twins when she suddenly went into labor at 19 weeks.  They lost both children 2 weeks later.  During delivery, Leslie looked as if she had passed out, but she had actually gone into cardiac arrest.  She was done for 17 minutes before they were able to revive her, leaving her brain deprived of oxygen for too long.  Leslie is with her Heavenly Father and precious twins today.

Please join me in lifting them up in prayer!

a night at the carnival

Our hometown is having it's annual fall festival.  We didn't get to go to the parade this year because we did the Walk for Alzheimers at the zoo (Kevin is the administrator of a nursing home, mind you).  We did get to go the carnival on Friday night, though, and Caleb LOVED the rides this year.

Little Noah was just along for the ride...and eventually quite perturbed that we were 30 minutes late for his bedtime.

Life seems to be flying by...I can't believe in a little over a month my baby will be turning 1.  We're trying to enjoy every minute!

Veggie Tales *LIVE*

As I've mentioned before, somebody in our house is a HUGE Veggie Tales Fan (okay-I admit that I like it too.  Out of all of the kid's shoes, VT is pretty funny and entertaining).  

Caleb's palette of television choices is slowly increasing, but Veggie Tales still remains at the top of the list!

We had the wonderful opportunity to go see Veggie Tales LIVE this week.  Caleb was SO excited all week...and this is him on the way.

They were HUGE!  It was a very entertaining show--for adults and kids!

 Towards the end of the show, we went up to the front of the auditorium and got to see them up close and personal.  All the kids were dancing in the aisles!

I love Caleb's look of amazement.  He was really tentative at first (as he typically is with all things), but was clapping, hollering, and screaming after the intermission. 



"Look at all this family!"

Lately whenever the four of us are all together--whether it be sitting on the swing or watching Veggie Tales in our bed on Saturday mornings, Caleb will look around and say, "Look at all this family!"
