Family Vacation to Colorado: Day 4

It's been yet another amazing day here in the Rockies!  We made the 30-minute drive to Georgetown (one of the most adorable towns I have ever seen--it reminded me of Stars Hollow in "The Gilmore Girls").  We made the trek so that we could ride the Georgetown Loop Railroad...a real-live steam engine the weaves in and out of the mountains.  We all had a blast and even got a little soot on us to boot!

Our family getting ready to get on the train!

Exploring while we wait...we went over the bridge in the background!

Although they had covered cars, we opted for the open air seating!  Being right behind the engine had a few drawbacks...including getting ashes and soot all over our clothes and in our hair!  :)

Little Noah soaking it all in!
The boys and the conductor!

After our train ride, we ate at a local restaurant in Georgetown.

I just loved this picture--being in this town makes you feel like you've stepped back in time about 50 years!

After getting back (and the boys refusing to rest), we had dinner and then went down to the river at sunset.

Only 1 more day here...I can't believe it!
