Christmas 2010

Christmas was so fun and memorable this year!  The boys LOVED everything about Christmas and we had such a great time making memories and new traditions.

December 23:  Since we spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with both of our families, we thought Dec. 23 would be fun to make "our night."  We enjoyed eating our favorite fun foods, decorating Christmas cookies, and getting in our pj's to drive around and look at Christmas lights!

This house was amazing.  The lights were timed with the music (played through the car radio).

Wow...I don't think they could have fit ANY MORE lighted decorations!

Check out Santa on the roof!

Caleb LOVED getting to see the lights and hear the music!

...And so did Noah, he was just tuckered out by the time we got home.  :)
Christmas Eve:  We spent Christmas Eve with Kevin's family.  All the kids had a great time together...playing, watching a movie, eating dinner, and opening presents!

Noah had fun just walking around!

Once we got home, the boys put on their pj's and we read some Christmas books on the balcony.  As we were reading...a special visitor stopped by.

The boys watched as Santa brought their presents and put them under the tree.

Christmas Morning: We spent the morning at home...letting the boys relish in the magic of Christmas.  Kevin made omelets and we enjoyed fun family time.

The only thing Caleb asked for from Santa was cookies.  Yes, he wanted cookies FROM Santa.  Santa happily obliged.  Here he is enjoying one!

Both Caleb and Noah each got 3 gifts (the same number as Jesus received):  they both got a new Bible and then received 2 small toys.  The gifts in the background of the picture are mine...I got a Ninja and Pyrex dishes!

One of Caleb's favorite gifts...a musical fiddle Kevin received in a gift exchange at work (and then we regifted).  :)

A new soccer ball!

My mom got each of the guys some silly boxer-briefs.  They had a little too much fun...and Caleb couldn't resist getting in the picture!

Our family of 4 on Christmas Day!

Mr. Noah enjoyed cleaning up!
We are so thankful for eachother and most importantly, for the gift of our Savior!

"Dollar Dollar City"

Over Thanksgiving (I know, I know...I'm way behind), we joined all of my family at the lakehouse.  While there, we made a trip into Branson to do some shopping and go to Silver Dollar City.

For some reason, Caleb insists that it is actually called "Dollar Dollar City".  We don't really correct him because we secretly love it and think it's cute.  :)

We had a great time at the lake, in Branson, and especially at "Dollar Dollar City."  We went at night to see the 8 million Christmas lights display (or something like that).  It was wonderful, as always.

Happy boy!

At Rick's Hard Luck Cafe with singing servers!

Caleb got his first serenade...

And then we literally bumped into Santa in the Christmas Store.

Caleb was amazed.  I was too!   He was just about the best Santa I've ever seen!

Silly boy!

All bundled up for a chilly evening at "Dollar Dollar City"

Sweet, content baby!

The amazing interactive Christmas tree...Caleb was quite dissapointed when our Christmas tree at home didn't play music and light up like this one!
