Visit to the Dairy Farm

*I copied and pasted this post from my other blog...I wanted to document it here and there!*

Our church playgroup went to a nearby dairy farm today!  We had so much fun!!!  Here are some of my favorite pictures from our visit...

Noah was so excited about the cows...

...he kept saying "moo" when he saw a cow and "wawa" (water) whenever there was a puddle

All of the littles and the Mamas in the barn

We even got to watch the cows being milked...it was very interesting!

Caleb didn't really know what to think about this part...

My favorite part was getting to see the calves!  SO cute!

Don't you just want to kiss this sweet face???   :)

The rain began as we were leaving, so we were a little muddy by the time we made it home.  Our special outing certainly made for a wonderful and eventful afternoon!

Easter 2011

"I just yuv Easter!" was Caleb's reaction to Easter this year.  It was so fun to watch both of the boys get excited about hunting Easter eggs.

One of our proudest moments as parents happened at our second Easter egg hunt with the day with Kevin's family and friends.  All of the kids had hunted Easter eggs and Caleb had a whole basket full.  Just when we thought the kids were done, Caleb took ALL of his eggs from his basket and started putting them back on the ground.  When we asked him what he was doing, he said, "I wanted to share with them."  His Aunt Candace picked a few up to make sure he actually got some Easter eggs while the rest of the kiddos were happy to take his discarded eggs.  We certainly learned a lesson from him on generosity this Easter!

Noah is taking his job very seriously!

Getting ready for our second Easter Egg hunt of the day...

I couldn't get the kids in a row because my 50mm lens doesn't zoom out, so I took it in 2 parts.

Daniel-Lions

Caleb calls dandelions "Daniel-Lions".  I happen to think it's pretty precious.  My parent's yard has a nice patch of dandelions, so we let the boys go to town picking them and having fun...

Picking dandelions is one of Noah's favorite past times as well.

While we were there, Uncle Chris gave the boys a "ride" on the snow shovel.  Daisy Mae got really excited.

It was a wonderful start to our fun-filled Easter weekend!
