Apparently 3-years old is the age for nightmares. We awoke at 2:30 early Monday morning to a little person crawling up to sleep with us. This is the first time this has ever happened! Even though a big part of me wanted to let him just sleep with us, the more practical part of me knew that it would be a daily battle if we gave in this once.
Strangely enough, the "nightmares" had to do with a piano falling on him.

And giant pickles hiding behind his bookshelf.

I guess even the most sheltered children still have nightmares!

Poor Caleb! One of our new routines before bed is to sprinkle 'fairy dust' ( aka baby powder) on London and Noble's tummies before bed. It is a special fairy dust that gives them good, happy dreams while they sleep. London insists that is works, some nights she asks for extra so her dreams will be extra good! (:
